Frequently asked questions
I am flying today and have no ESTA. What can I do?
Come straight to our desk in Check-in 2, no later than 1 h 15 min before departure, or call us on +41 43 816 53 53. We submit the application immediately. The decision often comes quickly, but nobody can guarantee it: it is made by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), which recommends applying at least 72 hours before departure.
How long does it take?
It depends on the country. Many electronic authorisations such as Canada’s eTA or the UK ETA are usually decided within minutes. Others take longer: India’s e-visa, for example, has to be requested at least four days before arrival. So it is better to call today than tomorrow.
What do I need to bring?
Your passport and flight details. Depending on the country, we also need details of your accommodation and purpose of travel, sometimes a passport photo.
How much does the visa service cost?
We charge a fair processing fee, plus the official fee of the destination country if there is one. We tell you the total amount upfront.
Can I not do this online myself?
Yes, and some arrival forms are even free of charge from the authority. We help when things need to happen fast, when you are unsure which document you need, or when you would rather talk to a person. Beware of websites that pose as the authority and charge high fees for free forms.
Do I need a classic visa?
That depends on your nationality and destination. Classic visas that require an appointment are issued by the embassy or consulate. We are happy to tell you which document you need and the fastest way to get it.
Which countries do you help with?
For a great many: from ESTA (USA), eTA (Canada) and ETA (UK) to e-visas, for example for Türkiye, India, Vietnam, Egypt or Iraq, and arrival forms such as TDAC (Thailand) or eTravel (Philippines). Just ask us about your destination.
Which languages do you speak?
German, Turkish, English and Kurdish.
